a place to connect
Ember was created to help people connect more deeply with themselves, each other, their spirit and source energy, however that may resonate. At its heart, Ember is about healing, understanding and community. I believe many people are seeking ways to better understand themselves, explore their beliefs, find community and connect with something bigger. I also believe that, with this, many are moving through life carrying experiences, emotions and questions that we don't always have the time, space or resources to process. So, Ember exists to create some of that space.
For me, spirituality is not limited to one practice. It can be found in our history, our ancestors, our relationship with nature, our beliefs, our creativity, our bodies and the way we connect with other people. Ember was created to bring some of these things together in one place.
I created Ember during my own period of personal awakening. As I began exploring spirituality, tarot, herbalism and other practices, I became increasingly interested in learning, sharing and having conversations with others exploring similar ideas. I started sharing my experiences and knowledge online, and over time a community began to grow around it. That community is a huge part of why Ember exists today. What started as something personal became something I realised could offer value to other people too.
where Ember is now
At the moment, Ember's main service is tarot and intuitive energy readings. I see tarot as a tool for guidance, reflection and conversation. A reading can provide insight into a situation, help you look at something from a different perspective, or give you the space to talk through something that has been on your mind. While readings can explore the past, present and future, the conversation and reflection that happens around the cards is just as important. For me, that is where the healing element of tarot really comes in. Sometimes being listened to, understood and seen can be incredibly valuable.
I've also started bringing Ember into the wider community through workshops and events, including tarot learning sessions and full moon rituals. These are the beginnings of what I want Ember to become.
how we're growing
My vision for Ember is to grow beyond tarot into a wider community focused on healing, connection, spirituality, creativity and learning. Tarot is where we're starting, but it is only one of many ways I want Ember to support people.
Healing & Wellbeing
Healing is at the heart of Ember. I want to bring together different approaches to wellbeing, from energy work and holistic practices to herbs, nutrition, movement and eventually therapy.
Events, Meetups & Retreats
From spiritual workshops and rituals to creative events, social meetups and eventually retreats, I want to create experiences that bring people together to learn, explore and enjoy themselves.
Giving back
Long term, I want Ember to become increasingly community focused, with a portion of its profits supporting charitable causes and the community having a voice in where that support goes.
Community
I want Ember to be a place where people can genuinely connect. Online communities, local gatherings and shared interests will create opportunities to meet people, build friendships and feel part of something.
Education
Ember will grow into a place for learning through workshops, talks, courses and resources covering spirituality, wellbeing, creativity and other areas that encourage personal growth.
Podcast
The Ember podcast will explore conversations about life, people, ideas and experiences. A space for interesting conversations, different perspectives and topics worth talking about.
