Dreamy Traveller Tea Blend

£10.50

One teaspoon (approx. 2-3g) of the blend per cup of tea should be a good serving size. This would provide about 10–12 servings from a 25g batch. No more than 1-2 cups per day.

Boil and strain:

Bring a cup of water to a boil on the stove or in the kettle. Once the water has boiled, turn off the heat. Add the hot water to a pot or mug, then add 1-2 teaspoons of the herbs. Let the herbs steep for 5-15 minutes, depending on how strong you want the taste. After steeping, strain the herbs and enjoy your herbal infusion!

Use a tea strainer:

Bring a cup of water to a boil on the stove or in the kettle. Once the water has boiled, turn off the heat. Add the water to a mug with a tea strainer containing 1-2 teaspoons of the herbs, and let it steep for 5-15 minutes, depending on how strong you want the taste. Potential interactions:

It may interact with drugs metabolised by the liver including but not exclusive to Antihistamines. Statins, Antidepressants, Antiplatelets, Anticoagulants (blood thinners), Valproic acid, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Diazepam, Central nervous (CNS) depressants, Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors or MAOIs) and some antifungal drugs. It can also interact with sedatives such as Anticonvulsants, Antidepressants, Alcohol, drugs to treat insomnia, such as zolpidem and medications for diabetes (Antidiabetes drugs).

Side effects:

Side effects are uncommon but discontinue use if any occur and always stick to the recommended dose. The side effects listed are not exhaustive. If you experience any unexpected symptoms or severe side effects (such as an allergic reaction or loss of breath), you should seek immediate medical attention. Side effects could include sleeplessness, vivid dreams and drowsiness in the morning after taking; unlikely uncommon side effects could include headaches, anxiety, dizziness, vomiting, confusion, nausea, restlessness, mental dullness, excitability, uneasiness, heart disturbances, diarrhoea, insomnia, menstruation, constipation, contact dermatitis, blood in the urine and A few people feel drowsy in the morning after taking valerian.
